Agios Efstratios to Mesta is a five-hour southbound run on the Seajets Aquablue, connecting a remote North Aegean island with the south coast of Chios. It is part of a longer seasonal line rather than a service in its own right, and it saves the usual detour via Lemnos or Piraeus. Fares start around €17.

Mesta is a fortified medieval village in the Mastichochoria, the mastic-producing villages of southern Chios, known for its labyrinth of stone lanes built to withstand pirate raids. It is atmospheric and quiet, with traditional tavernas and mastic heritage as the draw rather than beaches. Chios Town, the island's main port, is about thirty kilometres away.

Sailings are roughly weekly, and the current timetable and fares are shown below. Arrange onward transport towards Chios Town or the other mastic villages in advance, since public transport in this corner of the island is sparse. From Chios Town you can pick up regular ferries to Piraeus, Lesvos and Turkey.
