Agios Stefanos to Erikoussa takes about half an hour on the Bamos with Crystal Ferries, the shortest way out to the Diapontia islands. The boat leaves from Corfu's northwest corner rather than Corfu Town, which cuts hours off the journey. It is a small ship and the crossing depends on conditions.
Erikoussa is the most visited of the three Diapontia islands, though that is a relative term. The port is a small harbour village where most of the island's rooms and tavernas are clustered, and the sandy beaches are close by. It suits people wanting somewhere very quiet within reach of Corfu.
