Almyropotamos, on the southwest coast of Evia, crosses to Agia Marina in Attica in about forty-five minutes. The Styra to Agia Marina consortium runs the service with small vehicle-carrying ferries across the narrow stretch of water separating Evia from the mainland. It is a practical link rather than a scenic one, mostly used by drivers.

Agia Marina here is a modest harbour on the east coast of Attica, not far from Athens, and is a local ferry point rather than a destination in its own right. It is worth noting that this is a different Agia Marina from the ones on Aegina and Leros, which causes regular confusion when booking. Facilities at the quay are limited, so plan onward travel before you arrive.

The route runs a handful of times a week rather than daily, so it needs checking against your plans. Current sailings are listed in the table below. From Agia Marina the road runs west towards Athens, and the more frequent Evia crossings are further north at Marmari to Rafina and Styra to Agia Marina.
