This is a local run within the Fourni archipelago, from the main harbour up the coast to Chryssomilia in around thirty-five minutes. Sea Gem Maritime Company operate it with the Megalochari, a small boat serving the island cluster. It is a practical island service rather than a tourist crossing, and it is often the easiest way to reach the north of the island.

Chryssomilia is a small village and harbour, remote and undeveloped even by Fourni's standards. There is no landmark to speak of, and what draws the few visitors who come is the setting itself, the fishing-village routine and the quiet. Facilities are minimal, so it pays to arrive with a plan for the return.

The boat runs around three times a week and is weather-dependent. Current departures and fares are shown in the table below. The same service also connects Fourni with Thymena and onward to Ikaria and Samos.
