The last known sailing on this route was on 26 August 2026.
No timetable beyond that date has been published yet. Greek operators often release the next season’s schedules only a few months ahead, so this can be a seasonal pause rather than the end of the route. Check whether it is currently available to book through Ferryscanner.
Historically, this route ran about 0.2 sailings a day in April 2026, about 0.3 sailings a day in May 2026, about 0.3 sailings a day in June 2026, about 0.5 sailings a day in July 2026, about 0.4 sailings a day in August 2026, about 0.2 sailings a day in September 2026.
Fourni to Leros takes around four hours on Blue Star Ferries' Diagoras, running south as part of the ship's longer Dodecanese line. It is a conventional ferry, so seating, decks and a bar make the crossing easy going. Fares start around €15.
The Diagoras docks at Lakki, Leros's main ferry port, which is unlike anywhere else in the Aegean: the harbour is ringed by striking 1930s Italian Art Deco and Rationalist buildings from the island's period under Italian administration. Leros itself is understated and uncommercial, with the hilltop Castle of Pandeli above the village of the same name. The older main town of Platanos and the beach village of Agia Marina are both a short drive from the port.
Sailings run roughly once a week on this pairing. The current timetable and fares appear in the table below. Leros has more frequent local connections to Patmos, Lipsi and Kalymnos once you are there.
