These are the sailings we recorded on this route from October 2025 to September 2026. They show what ran then, not a forecast: timetables change from year to year.

Hydra to Methana takes thirty-five to forty-five minutes on the Magic 3, run by Magic Sea Ferries. It is a small fast catamaran on a sheltered run up the channel between the Saronic islands and the Peloponnese, so the crossing is usually smooth. Foot passengers only, which is no constraint leaving Hydra since the island takes no vehicles.

Methana is a volcanic peninsula joined to the Peloponnese, though its ferry links keep it firmly in the Saronic network. It is a quiet spa town set on old crater ground, with thermal and mud baths and walking routes over the volcanic landscape. Far fewer visitors get here than to Hydra or Poros, and the pace shows it.

Sailings run roughly daily in the season and much less often outside it. Current departures and fares are listed below, with fares starting in the mid twenties in euro. If nothing fits, Poros is the practical alternative, a short hop from Hydra with frequent onward crossings to Methana across the strait.
