These are the sailings we recorded on this route from October 2025 to September 2026. They show what ran then, not a forecast: timetables change from year to year.

Katapola to Santorini is worked by Seajets and Small Cyclades Lines, and the difference between them is substantial. The Super Jet 2 and Superjet cover it in around an hour and a quarter, while the Express Scopelitis, which calls through the Small Cyclades, takes closer to three and a half. The fast boats are enclosed with airline-style seating; the Scopelitis is a small local ferry with an entirely different character.

Santorini's main ferry port is Athinios, tucked beneath the caldera cliffs with a switchback road climbing away from it. Buses and transfers meet the boats, and you will want one, as the port itself is little more than quay, ticket offices and a few cafes. Above it are the clifftop villages of Fira and Oia, the caldera views and the volcanic beaches on the east coast.

The route runs roughly once a day across the season, more often at peak. 50 and the high-speed sailings priced well above that. Santorini is one of the busiest hubs in the Cyclades, with frequent links on to Crete, Piraeus and the other islands.
