Ferry from Kimolos (Psathi) to Apollonia (Milos)

This is the local shuttle between Kimolos and Pollonia, also written Apollonia, on the northeast tip of Milos. Blue Gem MC runs it with the small landing-craft style ferry Osia Methodia, and the crossing takes about twenty-five minutes. It carries cars, vans and motorbikes as well as foot passengers, and is the standard way islanders and hire cars move between the two islands.

Pollonia is a small fishing village at the northeastern corner of Milos, with a sandy beach, a line of tavernas along the front and a handful of rooms and small hotels. It is a considerably quieter base than Adamas, the main Milos port, and popular with people who want somewhere low-key to stay. Buses and hire cars connect it with Adamas and the rest of the island.

The shuttle runs several times a day, year-round, which makes hopping between Kimolos and Milos genuinely easy. The current timetable and fares are shown in the table below. Note that this is the Pollonia crossing rather than a sailing to the main Milos port at Adamas, so allow time for the road transfer if you are connecting to a larger ferry.

Not really. Kimolos is tiny, only about 900 people live there, and the port at Psathi is just 1km from the main village, Chorio.
