Mandoudi in northern Evia to Thessaloniki is a long northbound run, around six and a quarter hours on Seajets' high-speed Speedrunner Jet. It crosses from the Evian gulf up the length of the Aegean coast to the Thermaic Gulf. Being a fast craft, seating is indoors and assigned rather than open deck.

Thessaloniki is Greece's second city, a large and busy place with a long waterfront, a Byzantine and Ottoman heritage layered through the centre, and one of the best eating scenes in the country. The port sits close to the city centre, within walking distance of the White Tower and the main shopping streets. Rail and coach connections run from here across northern Greece and into the Balkans.

The route runs a few times a week in season and does not operate outside it. Current departures and fares are shown in the table below. Thessaloniki also has ferry links to the Sporades and to the North Aegean islands, so it works as a northern alternative to routing through Athens.
