Mathraki to Agios Stefanos (Avliotes) Ferry

Useful Resources for Your Greek Island Trip

The last known sailing on this route was on 12 September 2026.

No timetable beyond that date has been published yet. Greek operators often release the next season’s schedules only a few months ahead, so this can be a seasonal pause rather than the end of the route. Check whether it is currently available to book through Ferryscanner.

Historically, this route ran about 0.5 sailings a day in August 2026, about 0.4 sailings a day in September 2026.

Mathraki to Agios Stefanos takes about 25 minutes on the Bamos with Crystal Ferries, the shortest crossing between the Diapontia islands and Corfu. It lands on Corfu's northwest corner rather than at Corfu Town. Being a small boat on exposed water, it is subject to the weather.

Agios Stefanos is a low-key village harbour below Avliotes, with beaches nearby and none of the bustle of the main port. There is little onward public transport, so a hire car or a pre-booked taxi is the sensible approach. Corfu Town and the airport are a drive of around an hour.

The route runs a couple of times a week and mostly in the summer; the timetable and current fares are shown below. The same boat also serves Erikoussa and Othoni.
