These are the sailings we recorded on this route from October 2025 to September 2026. They show what ran then, not a forecast: timetables change from year to year.

Megisti to Chalki takes anywhere from under four hours to nearly eight, depending on whether you travel on the Dodekanisos Pride catamaran run by Dodekanisos Seaways or the Stavros operated by SAOS Ferries. Both leave Kastellorizo and head west past Rhodes to the small harbour at Emborio. The catamaran is the quicker of the two and the conventional ship the more comfortable for a long sitting.

Chalki is a tiny island just off the west coast of Rhodes, tranquil and largely undeveloped. Emborio, the harbour and effectively the island's only settlement, is lined with pastel neoclassical houses and is small enough to cross on foot in minutes. Most visitors come for quiet beaches and the slow pace, either as a day trip from Rhodes or for a longer stay.

The route runs a couple of times a week, so it needs to be planned around rather than assumed. Current days, times and fares are in the timetable below. Chalki's most frequent link is the short crossing to Kamiros Skala on Rhodes, which runs several times a day in season.
