The last known sailing on this route was on 26 August 2026.
No timetable beyond that date has been published yet. Greek operators often release the next season’s schedules only a few months ahead, so this can be a seasonal pause rather than the end of the route. Check whether it is currently available to book through Ferryscanner.
Mesta to Agios Efstratios is a Seajets run on the Aquablue, around five hours north through the Aegean. It links southern Chios with one of the most isolated inhabited islands in Greece, a connection that only exists as part of a longer seasonal itinerary. Fares start around €17.
Agios Efstratios, often shortened to Ai Stratis, is a small island south of Lemnos with a single village, also called Agios Efstratios, which was largely rebuilt after the 1968 earthquake. There is very little here beyond empty beaches, a handful of rooms and tavernas, and quiet. That is precisely why people come.
Sailings are roughly weekly, and the current timetable and fares are shown below. Because connections off the island are infrequent, work out your departure before you arrive rather than after. Lemnos is the nearest island with regular onward links.
