The last known sailing on this route was on 30 August 2026.
No timetable beyond that date has been published yet. Greek operators often release the next season’s schedules only a few months ahead, so this can be a seasonal pause rather than the end of the route. Check whether it is currently available to book through Ferryscanner.
Historically, this route ran about 0.2 sailings a day in August 2026.
Mesta to Mykonos is a Blue Star Ferries sailing on the Blue Star Patmos, around two and three quarter hours across from southern Chios into the Cyclades. It is one of the few direct links between the eastern Aegean and Mykonos, which otherwise usually means changing at Piraeus. Fares start around €17.
The ferry berths at Tourlos, the newer port a couple of kilometres north of Mykonos Town, built to handle large ferries away from the old harbour. Buses and taxis run into Chora from the quay. Mykonos needs little introduction: whitewashed lanes, Little Venice and the windmills in town, beach clubs to the south, and prices to match its reputation.
The service runs about once a week, so check the current timetable and fares shown below before relying on it. Book accommodation well ahead if you are arriving in July or August. From Mykonos there are frequent onward connections across the Cyclades and back to Piraeus and Rafina.
