Mykonos to Sigri is a long conventional crossing of around five and a half hours on the Blue Star Patmos, running north-east out of the Cyclades towards Lesvos. It is an infrequent seasonal working of the North Aegean line rather than a regular service, and it departs from Tourlos, the newer Mykonos port. The Blue Star Patmos is a large ferry with lounges, deck space and vehicle capacity, which suits a crossing of this length.
Sigri sits on the far western tip of Lesvos, a small fishing harbour and one of the quietest corners of the island. Tourist infrastructure is limited compared with Mytilini, and most travellers arriving here are heading for the Lesvos Petrified Forest, the UNESCO geopark just inland. Onward transport is thin, so it is worth arranging a car or a transfer in advance.
The sailing runs only occasionally, around once a fortnight when it operates. Current departure times and fares are shown in the timetable below. Mytilini, on the other side of Lesvos, is the island's main port and has far more frequent connections if this one does not fit your dates.
