The last known sailing on this route was on 26 August 2026.
No timetable beyond that date has been published yet. Greek operators often release the next season’s schedules only a few months ahead, so this can be a seasonal pause rather than the end of the route. Check whether it is currently available to book through Ferryscanner.
Historically, this route ran about 0.4 sailings a day in August 2026.
The Lemnos to Leros sailing is among the longest single legs on the Blue Star Ferries network, worked by the Diagoras at somewhere between eighteen and twenty hours. The ship threads down the North Aegean island chain before reaching the northern Dodecanese, with calls at several ports along the way. A cabin is more or less essential.
Leros' ferry port is Lakki, notable for the 1930s Italian-built Art Deco and Rationalist architecture right around the harbour, which gives arrival here a look you find nowhere else in Greece. The island's older main town, Platanos, and the beach village of Agia Marina are separate from the port, with the Castle of Panteli on the hill above. It is a quiet, understated island that suits people avoiding the busier Dodecanese resorts.
This through service runs roughly once a week, with the current timetable and fares shown below. Most travellers making this journey break it at Patmos or Kalymnos, both of which have frequent short-hop connections to Leros.
