The last known sailing on this route was on 28 August 2026.
No timetable beyond that date has been published yet. Greek operators often release the next season’s schedules only a few months ahead, so this can be a seasonal pause rather than the end of the route. Check whether it is currently available to book through Ferryscanner.
Historically, this route ran about 0.2 sailings a day in August 2026.
Nisyros to Fourni is a long northbound run of nearly seven hours on Blue Star Ferries' Blue Star Patmos. The ship threads up through the Dodecanese and into the eastern Aegean, calling at several islands on the way. It is a full-size conventional ferry, so there is proper seating, deck space and a canteen for the journey.
Fourni, or Fourni Korseon, is a small archipelago between Ikaria and Samos with one of the largest fishing fleets in Greece relative to its size. The main port town sits in a sheltered bay with tavernas lining the harbour front, and the seafood is as good as that suggests. Beaches are quiet and the island has escaped any real development.
This link runs about once a week, so it is worth building the itinerary around the sailing day. Current times and fares are shown in the timetable below. Fourni also has short local connections to Ikaria and Samos, which are usually the more practical way in and out.
