Ferry from Poros to Methana

Poros to Methana is one of the shortest scheduled crossings in the Saronic, fifteen to thirty minutes across the strait depending on whether you catch a fast catamaran or a conventional ferry. Do you need a car on Poros?

Not really. Poros is small, about 7 by 4 miles, and cars are banned from the tiny town centre in summer, so everyone parks near the port and walks. Scooters are cheap and cover the rest of the island easily, and small boats run constantly from the port to the beaches.
