Souvala, on the north coast of Aegina, runs back to Piraeus in around an hour and five to an hour and twenty minutes aboard the Saronic Ferries vessel Antigone. This is a conventional ferry rather than a fast craft, so it carries vehicles and takes longer than the high-speed boats from Aegina Town.

Piraeus is the main port of Athens, a short distance southwest of the city centre and one of Europe's busiest passenger ports. The port is large and split across numbered gates from E1 to E12, so check which one your ferry uses in advance. The metro and suburban rail station at the harbour runs straight into central Athens, and there are buses to the airport from the same area.

The service runs a few times a day, year round though thinner in winter. Current departures and fares are shown in the table below. From Piraeus there are connections onward to the Cyclades, Crete, the Dodecanese and the other Saronic islands.
