Historically, this route ran about 0.4 sailings a day in August 2025, about 0.7 sailings a day in July 2026, about 0.9 sailings a day in August 2026, about 0.4 sailings a day in September 2026.

Thessaloniki to Alonissos is a high-speed run down into the Sporades, operated by Seajets with the Speedrunner Jet. The crossing takes around four and a quarter hours, calling at other islands in the group on the way. Fares start around €48. As a fast craft it is seated indoors and more sensitive to weather than a conventional ferry.

Alonissos is the greenest and most low-key of the main Sporades, sitting east of Skopelos. The port is Patitiri, a small harbour town below the old hilltop village of Palia Alonissos. The island is known for hiking, diving and the surrounding marine park, a monk seal sanctuary that also takes in the uninhabited islets of Kyra Panagia, Peristera and Skantzoura.

Sailings run several times a week in the summer and stop outside the season. The current timetable and fares are shown below. Alonissos also connects locally to Skopelos and Skiathos, and via Volos and Agios Konstantinos on the mainland.
