Ferry from Mandoudi to Skiathos

This is the shortest way into the Sporades from northern Evia, and the busiest of the Mandoudi routes. Skiathos harbour sits alongside the main town of the same name, with the small fortified islet of the Bourtzi jutting out from the waterfront. It is the liveliest of the Sporades for its size, with a busy resort and bar scene set against the beaches that most people come for, Koukounaries and Lalaria among the best known. The island has its own airport too, which makes the port one of the busiest arrival points in the group.
