Ferry from Athens (Piraeus) to Agistri (Skala)

Agistri is one of the easiest island runs out of Athens. Aegean Flying Dolphins and Saronic Ferries work it with a mixed fleet including the Apollon Hellas, Achaeos, Athina and Poseidonas, and the crossing takes between about fifty minutes and an hour and a half depending on the boat and whether it calls at Aegina. The faster craft carry foot passengers only, while the conventional ferries take cars.

The island is small, green with pine, and deliberately unhurried. Skala is the main village and port, with a second small landing at Mylos, and both sit within easy reach of the beaches that are the point of coming.
