Ferry from Poros to Porto Heli

Poros to Porto Heli is a long leg by Saronic standards, around two and a half hours on the Aero 4 highspeed catamaran with Hellenic Seaways. The time reflects the calls at Hydra, Ermioni and Spetses that sit between the two, rather than the distance itself. It is a foot-passenger service on generally sheltered water, and one of the more scenic ways to work down the gulf.

Porto Heli is an upmarket resort town on the Argolid coast, built around a well-sheltered natural bay full of yachts. Do you need a car on Poros?

Not really. Poros is small, about 7 by 4 miles, and cars are banned from the tiny town centre in summer, so everyone parks near the port and walks. Scooters are cheap and cover the rest of the island easily, and small boats run constantly from the port to the beaches.
