Ferry from Schinoussa to Koufonissi

Schinoussa to Koufonissi is a half-hour hop between two of the Small Cyclades, run by Blue Star Ferries with the Blue Star Naxos and by Small Cyclades Lines with the Express Scopelitis. It is one of the cheapest crossings in the Aegean and one of the shortest, more of a local bus service than a sea journey. Both boats take vehicles, though few visitors bother with a car on islands this size.

Koufonissi, properly Ano Koufonissi, is the busiest of the small islands in summer, known for its turquoise-water beaches at Pori and Fanos. The port sits directly at the main village, so there is no transfer to speak of and everything is within a short walk of the quay. Neighbouring Kato Koufonissi across the channel is uninhabited and reached by small boat.
