Ferry from Paros (Parikia) to Koufonissi

Paros to Koufonissi takes anything from about an hour and ten minutes to nearly four hours, depending on whether you are on a Seajets high-speed craft or the conventional Blue Star Naxos. Seajets works the route with the Champions League Jet 1, Super Jet 2 and Superjet, while Blue Star takes the slower island-stopping line through Naxos. Both carry vehicles, though a car is rarely needed on an island this size.

Koufonissi is the most popular of the Small Cyclades in summer, known for shallow turquoise water and beaches such as Pori and Fanos. The harbour sits right at the main village, so arrival is a matter of walking off the ramp and into town. Neighbouring Kato Koufonissi across the channel is uninhabited and reached by small local boats.
