Do you need a car on Kimolos?

Not really. Kimolos is tiny, only about 900 people live there, and the port at Psathi is just 1km from the main village, Chorio. Most visitors walk or hire a scooter or quad locally for the short hops to beaches like Aliki (3km) or Prassa (6.5km). Not strictly. Chora sits on a hill about 4.5km above the port at Livadi, and a bus, roughly fifteen minutes for two euros, runs regularly between the two in summer.
