Kamari, at the Kefalos end of Kos, to Tilos takes around two to two and a half hours on the Panagia Evagelistria, operated by Star Gem Maritime. It is a small conventional boat working the local corner of the Dodecanese, and it usually calls at Nisyros on the way. The crossing runs through the volcanic islands south of Kos.
Ferries dock at Livadia, the main village on Tilos and where most of the island's rooms and tavernas are found.
