Kissamos to Diakofti Route Map
Seajets' Aqua Jewel connects Kissamos in western Crete with Diakofti on Kythira in around three and a quarter to three and a half hours. Kissamos port is a modern harbour a couple of kilometres from the old town of Kastelli.
Diakofti is a purpose-built ferry harbour rather than a village, functional and with little around it beyond the quay. The wreck of the cargo ship Nordland lies just off the port and is visible on arrival.
