Ferry from Astypalea to Paros (Parikia)

Astypalea to Paros is the long westward run through the eastern Cyclades on the Blue Star Naxos, taking around five and a quarter hours. Blue Star Ferries works the route with calls at Amorgos, the small islands and Naxos before reaching Parikia. It is a conventional ferry, so there is space to walk about, eat and sit outside.

Paros is one of the big Cycladic hubs, and ferries dock at Parikia, the main town, with the Panagia Ekatontapiliani, one of the oldest surviving churches in Greece, a short walk from the quay. Parikia keeps a more traditional feel than Naoussa on the north coast, which has the busier nightlife and the windsurfing and kitesurfing beaches. Sandy beaches ring much of the island.
