Ferry from Paros (Parikia) to Athens (Piraeus)

Paros to Piraeus is one of the main arteries of the Cyclades, running from around two hours forty on the Seajets high-speed craft to a little over five hours on the conventional Blue Star ferries. The Blue Star 1, Blue Star Delos and Blue Star Naxos are the big, steady option with proper decks, seating lounges and a canteen. The Champions League Jet 1 is quicker but enclosed, and rougher weather can affect it more.

Piraeus is the port of Athens and the primary gateway to the Aegean, handling an enormous volume of traffic through numbered gates E1 to E12. Check which gate you are arriving at, as the walk between them is substantial. The metro terminus at Piraeus station runs directly into central Athens, with taxis and airport buses at the main quays.
