Dodekanisos Seaways, the little Patmos Star and the SAOS Saonisos all run it, which is why departures are spread through the day rather than clustered.

Agia Marina is the commercial and administrative heart of Leros, a working harbour with Italian rationalist buildings around it, including the clocktower and covered market, left from the 1912 to 1943 administration. The island is calm and unshowy compared with Kos or Patmos, with easy beaches and plenty of Italian-era and wartime history. Leros's larger ferries generally use Lakki, a few kilometres away, so check which port any onward sailing leaves from.
