Lipsi to Leros is a forty-minute crossing on the Blue Star Patmos, one of the shortest legs the ship makes anywhere on its Dodecanese run. It is a straightforward hop between neighbouring islands, and the main thing to note is that this particular service uses Lakki rather than Agia Marina.

Lakki is Leros's main ferry port and is unlike any other harbour in Greece: a planned 1930s town built during the Italian administration, with sweeping Art Deco and Rationalist buildings around a broad bay. The island itself is quiet and understated, popular with travellers after a less commercial Dodecanese experience, with the hilltop Castle of Panteli above the village of the same name. The older main town, Platanos, and the beach village of Agia Marina are both a short drive from the port.
