Ferry from Patmos (Skala) to Leros (Lakki)

Patmos to Leros takes around an hour on the faster Blue Star sailings and up to an hour and a half on the slower ones, with Blue Star Ferries and Superfast Ferries between them running the Blue Star 2, Blue Star Patmos, Diagoras and Lefka Ori. Some services call at Lipsi in between. It is a short, reliable leg of the main Dodecanese line.

Leros is a quiet, understated island with an unusual architectural character, thanks to the Italian occupation of the early twentieth century. The ferry port at Lakki is lined with striking 1930s Italian Rationalist and Art Deco buildings, unlike anything else in the Aegean. The older main town, Platanos, and the beach village of Agia Marina are a short drive away, below the hilltop Castle of Pandeli.
